Under the
direction of Brad Buller, City
Planner, the Planning Division provides a variety of planning
services to the community, including zoning information, permit
assistance, historic preservation, long range planning, and administering
block grants. The purpose of planning is to create a safe, attractive,
healthy, and economically strong community. In short, planning
helps makes a better place to live and work. The cornerstone of
City Planning is the City's General Plan which serves as a blueprint
to guide the orderly development of the community. The General
Plan represents the efforts of citizens working together to define
the community's values.
