Welcome to the home page of the City of Rancho Cucamonga Planning Division.

Here you will find information regarding planning services, including new development, demographics, next Planning Commission agenda, and our award-winning Kids Neighborhood Workshop.

Under the direction of Brad Buller, City Planner, the Planning Division provides a variety of planning services to the community, including zoning information, permit assistance, historic preservation, long range planning, and administering block grants. The purpose of planning is to create a safe, attractive, healthy, and economically strong community. In short, planning helps makes a better place to live and work. The cornerstone of City Planning is the City's General Plan which serves as a blueprint to guide the orderly development of the community. The General Plan represents the efforts of citizens working together to define the community's values.
