Rancho Cucamonga has a rich history rooted in its past, as shown here in this photo of the Cucamonga Service Station located on historic Route 66 in 1927. Portions of the station remain at 9670 Foothill. The City of Rancho Cucamonga officially adopted its Historic Preservation Program in 1979.
